I just looking at the Dash 34 in Nanaimo.... it is currently a 465M outboard on the bracket rated boat in NW. Am I right that it would basically rate 107 in BC?

Hello Schnick. I think you are the owner of Nimue, let me know if I have that wrong.

I was just reading the PHRF-BC appeal of the Martin 242 rating that you filed, and see that you mentioned Zoom Zoom in Nanaimo. A little more background on Zoom Zoom, she was sold a few months ago to a great young couple with some racing experience crewing on other boats. The point is, Zoom Zoom continues to collect bullets in the Nanaimo Yacht Club races while being skippered by the young, first time boat owner new to keelboat racing couple, with a new to them boat. While the new owners are thrilled with their performance and the last thing I want to do is discourage new DNA in racing, that just isn't right.

I believe it was the Nanaimo Yacht Club PHRF handicapper (Terry Waters) that filed the Martin 242 appeal last year, and he would no doubt be happy to talk to you, or anyone else about it.

Anyway, perhaps a little more fuel for your fire.

    Jason,
Can you tell me how you calculate results with the Schnick -o-meter for the Opener? Where as the club results show Voila as 3rd overall, you put her as first. Where do the 0.9 and 0.9 points calculation come from for days 1 & 2 to come out with such a win for your unofficial VARC scoring. I can't figure it out.
    Thanks,
    Frank
