Default Cow Bay 2015

Who's heading over from Vancouver? So far the registration page shows: Rhumb Line, Godzilla, Ultraman II and Raven. I heard a rumor that Midsummer is headed over too.

Any crew planning to head over that need a boat to race on? I'm planning to have the boat over there (start of a week of cruising for us) and would like to race if I can pick up some crew (I have a place I can offload the cruising gear).

Looks to me like a very early morning delivery for boats heading over Friday. We'll either leave early Thursday morning, or later in the day Thursday and stay somewhere Thursday night on the way there.

My understanding is that Mardas Gras and Radical Departure are going over.

Tide is slack 5:50pm at Porlier Friday. Means late afternoon departure and into Cow Bay after sunset at 9:00pm. Some people could even fake it as a work day...

Edit: plus it's a massive flood all day peaking 9.3 kts at 1:52pm. Isn't that favourable current?

My current thought is for a late morning departure and go through Active at 6pm slack, or just before slack in 1-2kt flood.

I'm planning an after work delivery on the Thurs night likely via Porlier to Connover Cove. Morning departure / mid morning transit of Samson to Cow Bay ...... Hoping to be on a patio for lunch

Flood would be adverse current.
