Where does the time go!?
I can't believe it's time dust off the winter gear and get ready for the VRC Polar Bear series!

Registration
Everyone is welcome! If you need a hand with registration or getting a PHRF cert don't hesitate to contact me or any of the VRC racers.

Need Crew?
We have a huge crew bank to draw from with all levels of experience! Let me know what you need and we'll make sure you've got people for your boat.

Want to crew?
WE NEED YOU. Let us know what your availability and experience is and we'll find a boat for you!

New to racing? Nervous?
No problemo! We'll find a mentor to come out with you and get you pointed in the right direction! We will also be hosting a Rookie Racing Seminar on Nov 1

Prizes and Apres-Sailing Drinks and Soup
Make sure you come back to the Rowing Club after racing for drinks and warm food. Our amazing sponsors have come up with some incredible door prizes INCLUDING all sorts of sailing swag from Evolution Sails

Hey are there SIs posted yet for this series? I'm curious what the format will be....round the cans, round the bay? Also Windy Feat may participate if we can get one or two committed experienced folks out. Any VRC boats want to open their cold dead hands and let some crew out into the big bad world? :-)

Note that the new Racing Officer has arranged for the time to be set back an hour for the start of the Polar Bear Series.

Another example of how to make things easier for the racers.

Yes, you can sleep in an hour.
