Brig is moored in Mosquito Creek with its new dark blue hull paint, and looking very cruisy with bbq, canvas and what-have-you.

Hmmm...IIRC the Goon had pretty decent sails. Now if someone could swing a deal to buy her racing sails from the new owner at a reasonable price, then pick up this P35 for say $10k or so, then it suddenly makes this one look like a pretty good deal - if you could get her all in for under $15k.

Beautiful boat....but besides the asking price, what's up with the 166 PHRF? Does she have a J/24 or M242 sized rig?

Hi all, not sure if this is the right place to put out a feeler, but my dad is looking at getting rid of his Peterson 35-1, getting a bit too old to handle it by himself. PM if there's any interest. Its regularly used, lots of cruising amenities (brand new north asym) lots of good laminate sails, heater, fridge, etc.

Thanks!

Jeff

Edit: he actually wants to sell it, so "feeler" may be misleading. probably not going to get a hit on this one, but he would be really keen on a smaller power boat trade, or partial trade.

I find this Reinell really confusing. Are the changes an improvement to the breed, or have they actually somehow managed to make it worse?

Amazing what you can do on a weekend bender and a couple of trips to Home Depot.

Trying to figure out if the rectangular thingy in front of the mast is a sunroof, solar panel, or hatch.
