Have a good delivery. Weather should be favourable and unless you are leaving first thing you likely miss the fog. Friggin' big flood until 11 though.
Out of curiosity, is this Loughed the one who owned Aquila back in the early 90's or thereabouts?

Do you mean when it was called Bongo? Or is that a different Aquila?

I know the boat you are referring to. The one I was referring to was a Davidson IOR 40. May have been a 30.5 rater - IDK. I think it was originally a Seattle or WA state boat.

where had she been hiding all these years, or had she been sold off somewhere else and been left to rot?

Any info on what happened to Wall Street Duck?

Really not much you can do with these old IOR warhorses once they hit a certain point of disrepair (or rock in the case of Cadenza),

What I can't fathom is how the current owner of Elle (ex-Foxhound, ex-Silver Shadow III) can justify paying the storage fees at some +$700/mo for what, 5 years now? That's well over $40k and nothing has been done to the boat I am aware of.

Yeah, I know - glass houses and stones and all - but I am slowly making progress - just a lot less time available than I initially thought. Plus, the scope of the Dash project has expanded significantly from early days.

Still curious on the events that led to OR dismasting...I did mast once a long time ago and was amazed how lively the top third of the rig was. Will there be a Carbon replacement?

The one from Seattle was brought up here by Glenn McDonald (according to someone who went to look at it when he bought it). He is reasonably certain that it was sold back to Seattle area.

I believe you are correct on that. The McDonald part rings a bell - but I recall him looking like a "Bill". Whatever that means. Must have had another seniors moment there - getting quite a few of those these days.

...or maybe it's that damn bell ringing in my ear.

I happened to see "War Canoe" sitting on a trailer at Thunderbird on Sunday. Anyone have any details on who snapped that up from Seattle ?

That boat is staying here until racing starts next season.Owner wanted to
race it here because it was such a good fleet compared to Seattle.
