I gotta think some boats washed up on EB beaches this weekend.

It was a sou'easter, offshore in English Bay, so not much for waves, and the only boat I saw yesterday that had dragged moved not towards the beach but away, ending up anchored out near one of the freighters.

Anyway I'm currently out of town, so no chance to have another look until Thursday at the earliest.

Right, forgot about that. Looking over EB yesterday morning there was relatively little wave action due to the wind direction.

Would have been interesting had it been a Westerly.

There were 4 or 5 washed up in Caddy Bay on the weekend. The winter SE storms run right up the bay and the wave fetch comes all the way from Tacoma.

Interesting solution in Squamish. The district worked with the Feds to place channel markers therefore declaring the waterway a "channel" and giving greater powers to evict long term occupants.
