Ross 930 Alien for sale over on the Island. Would likely need new rags to keep up, but fair price.

Didn't they just buy it just over a year ago?

Fair price 7 or 8 years ago maybe.

Did it even sell last time/

I think the last time it was on the block, the asking price went down to $22k.

Nice boats, I like them more than the Dash. But still, they have Outboards and the Dash's are selling for about half the asking price of this Ross.

"Fair price" is whatever ends up agreed between the buyer and seller.

Other than Alien selling last year (if it did indeed), the last two Ross 930s that I know changed hands for much more.

I read some of his posts after he re-launched it and he wasn't very happy with it's performance, pretty sticky in light air I think. Of course that was after he had moved on from a Melges 32, so no doubt the SC was slower!

I think he stuck a very low-tech mast in that boat. Not the end of the world but not plan A.

I think that link is broken. Here's revised one: https://vancouver.craigslist.ca/nvn/...498082350.html
