New rods. High sail #. Local should pick it up to resurrect the fleet. These boats are fun. Shoot a sprit on it,
take a small rating hit and buy a wheelbarrow for the pickledishes.

Hi Maxx, yep, much appreciated.

At this point, I think I am safe to make the public announcement that Short Circuit is coming back to Vancouver to join the Occam's fleet. While we did consider continuing the tradition of OR by painting the new boat teal and transferring the graphics (those who were here in the early 90's will understand)... I think we are most likely going to go another way...

Since I am sure this will raise additional questions re the future of Occam's; We are still committed to getting the big boat back on the water. But finding a replacement stick is not quick or cheap, and we did not want to be on the sidelines for the whole year, so the 30 is an interim solution for the team.

Weather permitting, we will be bringing SC across this weekend, and I hope to be sailing in January.

Oh yikes!

I missed that tale of woe, and I'm sorry to hear it. It's never fun when a boat is knocked out of commission. When and how did Occam's lose its rig?

Anyway, it's good to hear you've got a new toy to play with in the meantime!

The mean lean "teal" machine again huh? Good on ya! Lougheed would have proud that you are keeping with the legacy. Funny story there from the 36 on. We'll chat over that a cocktail one day soon.

Have a good delivery. Weather should be favourable and unless you are leaving first thing you likely miss the fog. Friggin' big flood until 11 though.
