Default 2007 Rocket 22 ICBM ex Octopussy hull #10 $35000CAD

2007 Rocket 22 ICBM ex Octopussy hull #10

ICBM (ex Octopussy) is an infused hull built by Rocketboats unlike some of the earlier hull numbers that were not infused and came in up to 200lbs heavy. The boat has some normal wear and tear for an eight year old boat but otherwise in excellent condition and well outfitted.

Both previous owners kept the boat on Hydrohoists which keeps the hull out of the water completely. Up until I purchased the boat in 2013 the boat had been a fresh water only boat.
The hull is original gelcoat with Micron CSC on the hull and keel.
Custom Roadrunner trailer, with custom fitted bunks. This trailer has only seen salt water a handful of times.

Hull #10 has the original and desirable setup with cleat trays on either side of the companionway and also built in cubbies for storing line. She also has the self-draining cockpit cooler.

The boat is setup for BOTH symmetric and asymmetric kites and carries both along with all the running rigging and carbon pole.

She has 3 rudders. Two original stock rudders and one custom all carbon Phils foil which is a cassette design. Blade is easily pulled in and out of cassette and cassette is allowed to live attached to the boat.

2010 New Forte Carbon mast
Rockets had a flawed spreader design (builder designed and installed, not Forte designed) which caused multiple boats to lose their rigs including this one as the spreaders failed. This Forte is the same geometry and design however Forte designed the spreader system and it uses stainless thru bars with carbon spreaders. This is and a MUCH better design and this system has been Gorge tested.
A fractional deflector was added to allow use of the asymmetric fractional chicken chute.

Along with the new mast, the boat got ALL new standing rigging and halyards in 2010. In addition, a new main halyard was installed June 2015
