Please out the arrogant prick that referred to his campaign as a "winning boat".
I'll gladly camp on his sorry ass at the next regatta.

Climber you need a life... (and apparently some crew, possibly a boat of your own)

And you wonder why there are so many boats that DON"T race anymore...

There can only be a couple of winning boats every week. The rest are suffering delusions.

I'm still trying to figure out if Climber's response is genuine or tongue-in-cheek.

It's genuine. Ask any of the long time crew of Maritime Diva.

Manana - Check your facts before slinging mud.

There are big gaps between a) having disgruntled crew shopping around for an alternate ride, b) offering a learning opportunity to crew on a boat with crack crew or interesting complexities, and c) trying to entice crew with promises of glory on a regatta weekend or regular race where the crew is needed on their 'home' boat.

For clarity... c is lame.

Kate deserves nothing but huge respect from the Vancouver sailing community. To try to poach her steady crew is not cool, and disrespectful to how much effort she has put into her campaign. Good luck Kate, I hope the bullshit stops.

Climber. Please post a pic of your vessel and sailing CV...

And if you want to "sling it" you've knocked on the right door. I have had more than enough of the arrogance of the local sailing community. Winning in "this pond" is nothing to brag about. Go sail somewhere else and see how you stand-up. I fear a reality check is in your future...
