Is the difference between a racer / cruiser and a cruiser/racer that the racer/cruiser is actually rated with the table OFF the boat, while the cruiser/racer is rated with the table ON the boat?

Bit of a stretch to call a Ross 930 a "pure race boat". It has a door on the head, 2 stoves, diesel heater, sink, water tank, etc. We just take the cushions, table and crockery off for racing.

Again, why haul all that crap around the course when you aren't using it?!?

Would be happy to store my skis and golf clubs in your boat if the Abbott 36 has so much extra room...
I never called the Ross 930 a pure race boat.

I simply said that so far as I know Ultraman II (being a very specific Ross 930) is run as a pure race boat.

As in, you don't take your buddies or your significant other and go out sailing without any other boats around, for the sole purposes of visiting interesting anchorages and relaxing aboard. Or do you?

LOL, I laughed when I saw that too. But I wouldn't want to cause undue harm either way.
