I think he wants you to buy it, not admire it from afar!

Dash in Seattle for 14k. Looks like it needs... Everything. But dashes are still pretty sweet.

Is this the one that was for sale a while back? At a higher price I assume.
Not sure why they would mention the original inboard, who in their right mind would reinstall an OMC unit?

Schnick, any ideas about the one that I think was recently bought on the island that had the video on FB of them sawzalling out the transom - I assume to fabricate an open cockpit ala AK and Karma?

It's the former Occam's Racer, then had a different name, now rechristened Hypen. The transom job is nearly complete, although a bunch of other work is being done over the winter with the owners planning to race it in the spring.

CGSailing on this board may chime in.

Pretty fast work - seems like the sawzall video was posted only a week or so ago. But if you can git at her full time. Although the video looked like it was shot outside I would assume work is being done in a shop - no way they could have got much of anything done outdoors during last weeks monsoons.

I'm still working on the floor extensions that I hope to complete within the next couple of weeks.

Sadly, that old OMC inboard unit isn't even heavy enough to make a decent anchor for a mooring. It is just scrap aluminum now.

Not really an anomaly, but this C&C 30 Mk1 has an extended keel so it draws 6'4" (more than a Dash) rather than the stock 5'.

Interesting to see how much (if any) of an improvement it makes. Would depend to a degree on how well the mod was done.
